Technology Talk-Real Classroom Stories
Buffalo Public School received $1.75 million in September of 2015 based on Commissioner Elia’s continuing commitment to ensure that the District’s five (5) “persistently struggling” schools succeed. The commissioner’s stipulations include that these funds be used “to support the goal of improved teaching and learning through the infusion of technology in classrooms and in schools.” Today approximately 2000 students in the Buffalo Public Schools have been provided with an iPad or laptop to use all day long. This is a exciting initiative that is allowing teachers and students to engage in teaching and learning in new and different ways.
